Here are photos of the farm in northwestern Iowa, USA. They were taken in February, 2008. I just tried to take photos as quickly as possible before my fingers went numb since it was so cold.
The snow and the age of the barn, corn crib, trees, and typical small farm house all lend to these culturally and emotionally focused images.

It appears that there is a cave. You can't walk across. There is a drop off that isn't very obvious in the photo, but it is in person. After getting close to the drop off I saw that there is a narrow path that leads to the mountainside in the photo but it is blocked with a sign saying that it is prohibited.<
