Known as Vochos in Mexico, they are most often seen as Taxis, although the government has started an incentive plan to replace them with other newer and four-door vehicles such as the Tsuru.
They are easy to repair, don't have any fancy computers, and spare parts are plentiful.
Taxis in Mexico City are normally painted green.

Private Tales in Black & White
Another beautiful November day in Cape May. This timeless scene was captured at the Cove Beach and the end of Cape May's famous boardwalk. The waves were kicking up and even though it was cold, that didn't stop many local surfers from suiting up and heading to the beach.
We've cropped this photo to emphasize the horizontal wave elements, and we've selected a simple, elegant black frame to compliment the clean black and white image. A perfect way to add to your favorite room.
Cape May's November Break
A beautiful November day brings big breaks to the shores of Cape May, NJ. We've cropped this photo to emphasize the horizontal wave form, and we've selected a simple, elegant black frame to compliment the black and white image. We also created a distinct extra wide double matte for a unique presentation of this image.
Grinch Surfer
What a beautiful November day (2007) on the shores of Cape May. This shot looks towards the beach to the right of Henry's on the Beach restaurant. There's an interesting sidebar story to how that surfer was riding the waves. Check out the cable he's dragging behind him. It was connected to a machine called The Grinch that sat of the beach and when someone turned The Grinch on it coiled the rope in and the surfer got propelled across the shallows by holding on to a waterski handle connected to the cable. Very cool stuff. We set this shot up in a cool, simple black frame to compliment the black and white of the image. It another shot from our black adn white beaches series.
Frozen Concrete: Cape May Point
This past winter during a particularly cold stretch, the ice floes solidified the waters out to the concrete ship and beyond. This created a rarely seen visual event for this famous Cape May Point landmark. We've chosen a simple wood frame with a slightly distressed surface that is enhanced by a subtle red line on both the inner and outer edge, to give a class and quality to this beautifully stark black and white photograph.
