A soothing and calming image with simple sweeping lines that lives off the light both from the sky and the diffused reflection coming back off the snow.

Evergreen ivy growing up a red brick wall, little white snow caps on its leaves.

Taken on an early morning walk in Gladstone Park the one day it snowed in London... This is a very simple image, symbolising the resilience of life with the new leaves coming out already through the snow. On top of that, the composition is very graphic with the slightly slanted cross shape and the pure white background and surely an eye catcher on any wall.

Freezing

These pansies, probably as surprised by the snow as all the other Londoners, stand out beautifully against the fresh snow, however cold they may feel.

by the duck pond

This is in the upper part of the park right in front of Dollis Hill House, the looming ruin nobody wants to take down as it is a listed building, and that not enough people are prepared to invest into to have it restored, even though the Mayor of London has pledged to put up half of the total amount if the local council could raise the other.

snow hats

The way I worked this print was inspired by Japanese wood cuts.

rugby goal

This old rugby goal, slightly bent out of shape, is no more. I was lucky that I got this picture with the seagulls having completely taken over.
